Meet Sarah Yasukochi, Founder of HOUSE COLLECTIVE.
Small businesses and side-hustles weren’t new to Sarah. Yet, it took 20 years as a successful Brand Strategist and Marketing Director in the corporate space before she braved becoming a full-time entrepreneur. Loss and life events were her catalysts for change; following her dreams to encourage her children to pursue theirs became her "why"; and work with a dear friend and Life Coach offered tools and support for action.
Blaze + Wander, Sarah's online and pop up kids boutique quickly grew and was award-winning and industry recognized in just three short years. Not only was it successful in sustaining her new adventure in entrepreneurship, but it also carved a clear pathway to a new community of creatives, makers and industry shakers. She developed deep friendships with incredible purpose-driven business owners and recognized that they all held fascinating origin and evolution stories. Yet, most struggled with balancing the magic they brought to their businesses with the strategy required to market themselves effectively and authentically.
Compelled to help share the stories that were eager to be told and serve the community she had grown to love, admire and be inspired by, Sarah's journey took a turn. She combined her formal training and MBA education with her experience in the corporate and small business worlds, sprinkled in old friends with new, and launched House Collective.
Her story is the foundation of our home. Her friends - a talented, all-female team of traditional and digital Marketers - fill it.
Welcome to the HOUSE that Sarah built.
